One of the most anticipated weddings of Bollywood, the marriage of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal is finally happening and we are barely able to keep calm! After the news of the couple’s roka started making rounds during Diwali, we jumped into action mode to gather all the details for you. Vicky and Katrina seem to be really smitten by Rajasthan and its culture and hence have decided to use the state’s famous Sojat mehendi for the bride and her bridal party. (Side Note: The mehendi sourced from the Sojat region of the state recently received the GI tag.)
A local firm marketing the henna has confirmed that the couple’s planners have ordered 20 kgs of Mehendi powder and 400 mehendi cones for the couple and their guests.
Katrina’s mehendi is believed to be done by celebrity mehendi artist Veena Nagda. Veena Nagda has earlier worked with Katrina on several movies in the past. Nagda has also been the go-to mehendi artist for several high-profile celebrity weddings namely the wedding of Deepika Padukone and Natasha Dalal.
The couple has booked star photographer Joseph Radhik to shoot their wedding celebrations. Joseph and his team at Stories by Joseph Radhik have shot innumerable celebrity weddings in the past. He will now use his expertise to lens the VicKat wedding as well.
The #VicKat wedding has already become a huge rage for the media, their fans, and the internet alike. And, there have been serious questions raised about the security of the couple and their guests. Dharamshalas in Sawai Madhopur has been rented out for the boarding of security personnel at the venue whereas certain personnel from Rajasthan Police are said to be tasked with providing security cover for the VIP guests.
As per SOP, drones buzzing around the venue would be shot down immediately to maintain the secrecy of the wedding.
The guests attending the wedding will be given special codes to protect their identity. The hotel has ensured that the guests receive these codes at the time of arrival and special arrangements like room service, security, etc will be made for them based on these codes.
The couple has made all their guests sign NDAs to avoid the leakage of information like guestlists, photographs, and other details.
All the guests have to be doubly vaccinated and carry a negative RT-PCR test report before arriving at the wedding venue.
The couple has requested their guests to not use their mobiles phones as long as they are attending the wedding. Their phones will be confiscated and the guests have been requested to cut off from the outside world till they leave the venue.
Apparently, the duo has jointly penned down a note to their guests mentioning the ‘code of conduct’ to be followed at their wedding. See what the note says above.
The bride-to-be has been trying shoes from the designer brand Joy for her big day. The brand’s outlet is located at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai; one of its employees was papped a few days ago taking custom-made footwear to the bride’s residence for the trials.
The bride-to-be was seen trying fittings for her Sabyasachi outfit at a friend’s pad in Bandra.
Katrina is being styled by the celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania for her wedding.
As per certain reports, the mehndi vendor has refused to charge for the mehndi it will supply for Katrina and Vicky’s wedding.
Katrina was papped at the Mumbai airport leaving for Jaipur in a yellow and white sharara set by the ace designer Anamika Khanna.

The couple is said to have opted for an all-natural decor for their wedding celebrations.
The wedding venue (Six Senses Fort Barwara) is a 120-kilometer drive from the Jaipur airport.
As per the sources, Vicky is expected to make a smashing groom entry riding a chariot drawn by seven horses.
Some of the guests that have already reached the wedding venue include Farah Khan, Karan Johar, Neha Dhupia, Kabir Khan, and Mini Mathur ( apart from the bride and groom of course.)
Vicky’s longtime friend Malavika Mohanan reached the venue today to join the ‘wedding of the year.’
The food menu of their wedding includes a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies, a live chaat counter, and a special five-tiered cake prepared specially for the occasion by a renowned Italian chef.
Given Kaushal’s Punjabi roots, Punjabi singer Gurdaas Maan is believed to perform at the couple’s wedding festivities whereas Punjabi band RDB is said to perform at the couple’s sangeet.
Speaking of more Punjabiness, The Punjabi sangeet function of their wedding is said to be organized by Vicky Kaushal’s mother Veena.

It is also speculated that the couple will sell off the media rights to showcase their wedding to a popular international magazine starting with V. It is said that the sale of the media rights is probably the reason why the couple has been so secretive about their wedding details.
This power Jodi is also believed to sell streaming rights of their hush-hush shaadi to Amazon Prime for a whopping 80 crore.
The duo is expected to ditch a honeymoon for a mini-moon in Maldives.
Both bride and groom have their schedules completely packed with work and hence might plan a proper honeymoon later after they complete their shooting schedules.
The duo is also keen to star in a project together post their marriage.
Vicky and Katrina have zeroed in on a luxurious flat in Juhu as their dream marital home after months of house hunting.
The couple will be neighbors to Anushka and Virat who own two floors in the same society in Juhu.
Post-wedding, their collective net worth would be around INR 240 crore making them one of the highest tax-paying couples of Bollywood.
