One of the most anticipated weddings of Bollywood, the marriage of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal is finally happening and we are barely able to keep calm! The Wedding Proposal
We’ve heard all about the adorable way Vicky proposed to Katrina and we can’t wait to share it with you. Apparently, Vicky offered a very regular box of chocolate brownies to Katrina which had a card inside it with the words – Will You Marry Me? No, we’re not crying. You are! The Roka
The couple had their roka in the middle of the Diwali festivities at Katrina’s close friends Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur’s residence. Katrina was spotted wearing a stunning bright red lehenga for the function which was celebrated with a lot of pomp and grandeur.
The Wedding Date
Katrina and Vicky Kaushal are speculated to tie the knot in the first week of December 2021. The festivities are expected to span over three days. As per the news reports, the couple is expected to tie the knot sometime between 7th to 9th December.
The Wedding Functions
Katrina and Vicky will be having a number of functions that will be an amalgam of Vicky’s Punjabi and Kat’s Catholic traditions. The couple’s wedding celebrations will include functions like haldi, mehndi, Hindu pheras, and a Catholic vows ceremony which will together include a lot of singing and dancing.
The Wedding Venue
The couple will be celebrating their special day at Rajasthan’s Six Senses Fort Barwara, located in Ranthambore in the Jaipur district. The venue is an ancient fort from the 14th Century, a royal heritage site for the royal couple, indeed!
The Bridal Trousseau
Vicky and Katrina both will be wearing stunning outfits designed by Sabyasachi for their big day. Although we do not have all the details of the bride’s ensemble yet, we are aware that she’ll be wearing a stunning raw silk lehenga for her pheras.
