Sispattis Are All The Rage Right Now: Here Are Some Options for Every Bride!

Category - Hair & Makeup, Jewellery For Weddings 3 Mins Read Time

The aptly named Sheeshpatti, with “sheesh” meaning head, and “patti” meaning band, is an ornate band worn over the head with what looks like a maangtikka dropping down from it to rest on the forehead. It’s often abbreviated to sispatti, and has been around for centuries. Though the sispatti’s popularity has only risen recently, we can trace the start of it’s comeback to when Deepika Padukone wore one during her wedding.
