As exciting as wedding shopping can be, the whole process can also become extremely stressful. Endlessly scrolling through Instagram for inspiration for your looks, going store-to-store with hopes of finding your dream outfits, and ultimately realizing that there are seven other smaller functions you completely forgot about – the whole process takes up so much time!
Luckily, we have a solution. The seventh annual edition of The Vogue Wedding Show is here, and we can confidently say it is going to be their best one yet. Hosted at the Taj Palace, New Delhi on August 2nd, 3rd and 4th, it has all the best designers under one roof – so the eight weekends you had allocated to visit different boutiques, can all be covered in just a day! Here are 5 reasons every soon-to-be-bride should register to attend the mother of all wedding shows and also have face time with the designers!
No other wedding exhibition in the country has so many legendary designers under one roof. Their 2019 list includes Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra, Falguni Shane Peacock, Shantanu & Nikhil, Anita Dongre, Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Kumar, Jade by Monica and Karishma, Gaurav Gupta, Rahul Mishra, and Shyamal and Bhumika. They also have a beautiful ethnic ‘Sari Pavilion’ with designers like Naina Jain, Palam Silks, Faabiiana, and Sonia K Mahajan showcasing their ranges. Rather than going from boutique-to-boutique in heavy traffic, you can stroll leisurely through the event space in Taj’s relaxing setting, and even go upstairs for a long, luxurious lunch!
Once you register to show that you are interested in attending, The Vogue Wedding Show will get in touch and accordingly send out invitations. Attendees will also have face time with the designers. If you are looking to create something custom of your own and not buy off-the-rack, it is even possible to get one-on-one appointments with all the designers (but keep in mind that this comes with a heavier price tag)!
If you thought there was no way this show could get any more luxurious, you are about to be surprised! Vogue also offers VIP shopping services to some of its invitees, which other than one-on-one appointments with the best designers, also includes invitations to some exclusive designer events, welcome gift hampers, and personal shopping services, because why not?
Probably the coolest new addition to the show has to be Louis Vuitton! In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, Louis Vuitton’s iconic trunks will be showcased and available exclusively at the show- suited for brides, grooms, their families, for explorers and adventurers, Louis Vuitton’s trunks carry with them deeply engraved memories.
Note–This is by exclusive invite-only!
Other than designers, the show also features the country’s best jewellers such as Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas, Hazoorilal by Sandeep Narang, Hazoorilal Legacy, House of MBj, Mehta and Sons, Thakorlal Hiralal, Khanna Jewellers, Raj Mahtani Couture Jewels, and Rare Heritage. Gifting, catering, invitation, and design experts like Ahujasons, Creative Cuisines Inc (CCi), Fabelle Exquisite Chocolates, Foodhall, Katalyst Entertainment, Kingdom Of Bahrain, Ravish Kapoor Innovative Invitations, Shazé, Faaya and DreamKrraftz Weddings will also be present.
